2025 Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics: A Report of US and Global Data

The 2025 AHA Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics Update is the most current iteration of the field’s annual benchmark publication — the document that assembles, in one place, the surveillance data from NVSS, NHANES, BRFSS, and the Global Burden of Disease study into a comprehensive epidemiological picture. The 2025 edition incorporates approximately 3,000 new data sources compared to the prior year and adds enhanced global data with improved methodology.
